I spotted these on Etsy a couple of years ago and absolutely adore them! They are fun little projects that can be done in a weekend and are offered in a couple of different styles: tabletop and hanging.
I’ve bought a couple off Amazon, but you need to be very careful with these. A couple I’ve purchased have been really low quality in the crispness of the image, and the glue doesn’t hold very well. With the last one I got, six of the drills had fallen off the very next day!
My favorite place to buy these cuties is the Etsy shop Daisy Grey Pretties. She often runs 50%-off sales, so watch for one and grab a couple for yourself or for gifts!
I always opt for the “Standard Kit”; it’s the cheapest and really does have everything you need for one of these small projects:
Both the base and the design have a protective film you will need to remove on both sides. The top of the design has a film that’s meant to be removed and reapplied as needed while completing the project. The back of the design and both sides of the base have films that are harder to remove and not meant to be reused.
This is actually something I can do from my couch while watching a movie. I use a small box lid to hold everything and then assemble from my lap desk:
You’ll want a pair of scissors to open the bags and a pair of tweezers for replacing the wax in the pen or for moving a misplaced drill.

Occasionally, the covering may slip during shipping, and you’ll find the surface isn’t as sticky as it should be. Once the project is complete, you can use a sealer to make sure everything stays in place. This is the brand the Etsy seller recommends, and it’s worked well for me: SEVGILI Diamond Painting Sealer.
